Group therapy: The healing experience of not being alone

During serious crises or following traumatic experiences, many people feel completely isolated with their problems and thoughts. Group therapy offers a particularly valuable and safe space to break through this very isolation.

Perhaps the most important realisation in a group is: “I am not alone with my problem.” Here you will meet people who are overcoming similar challenges and who can truly relate to your feelings from their own experience.

What makes working in a group so valuable:

  • Learning from one another: The solutions and coping strategies of others often open up entirely new perspectives of your own.
  • Deep understanding: Mutual understanding, often without the need for lengthy explanations, brings enormous relief to the soul.

Mutual support: The group provides courage, offers security and helps you rediscover your own strengths.

The following always applies: you set your own personal pace. No one is forced to share more than they wish to. Respect, absolute confidentiality and mutual appreciation form the foundation of our work together. Many burdens are noticeably easier to bear when shared.

We offer group sessions on the following topics:

We form a group with with a minimum of six participants

Meetings weekly, contribution towards costs: €6.00 per session
